In the second quarter of 2024, the hack and slash category on the Android platform saw various trends in Italy. Below, we dive into the performance of the top 5 applications, highlighting their downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Solo Leveling:Arise by Netmarble had an impressive start following its release on May 3, 2024. Revenue peaked at around $60K in the second week of May, before gradually declining to approximately $18K by the end of June. Downloads saw a significant drop from about 50K in the first week to just over 1K by the end of the quarter. Despite this, weekly active users showed relative stability, starting at nearly 49K and ending at around 46K.

MARVEL Future Fight, also from Netmarble, experienced a revenue spike in early May, reaching about $5.8K, before settling to around $1.1K by late June. Downloads remained modest throughout the quarter, peaking at 476 in early June. Weekly active users fluctuated slightly but remained in the range of 11K to 14K.

Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat from nebulajoy had a more stable performance with revenue ranging from approximately $2.5K in early April to around $780 by the end of June. Downloads were consistent, averaging between 160 to 370 per week. Active users remained steady, hovering around the 4.4K mark throughout the quarter.

FAIRY TAIL: Fierce Fight by HONGKONG SKYMOONS INTERACTIVE CO., LIMITED saw revenue fluctuate between $1.5K and $590 throughout the quarter. Downloads saw a notable peak at 1.8K in early April but tapered off to about 350 by the end of June. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from around 2.5K to 1.9K over the same period.

Honkai Impact 3rd from COGNOSPHERE PTE. LTD. saw a moderate revenue increase, peaking at about $2.2K in early June before dropping to around $620 by the end of the month. Downloads were minimal, with only slight upticks in June. Active users declined from 4K in early April to about 2.5K by late June.
